HGUC V2 Assault and V2 Buster

Hello World!
Updating with my latest build, HGUC V2 Assault and V2 Buster!
Yea, Two Kits at Once!  *So.. it took me 1.5x extra time
  • Consider Two as One, my Twenty-One Airbrushed
  • Satisfaction: 8.5/10
Really had a fun time with these two. Honestly, they are mine Third and Forth V2 Gundam. During the building up, seriously there's no need for a look at the Manual. Haha.

Alright, let's get into the photos.
A simple "2-D" Base for them. Short WIP info at the bottom...
The Mega Beam Shield!
With the Color Combo of Lacquer and Enamel, it's actually quite easy to paint the Shield Bits. First I painted it White, followed by masking for painting the red portion, then the Enamel Dark Grey. Lastly, just wipe away the excess on the white and red portions! Done!
Mega Beam Rifle!
Among all, this's my second most satisfied piece.
With Enamel German Grey hand painted, the details of the Rifle is significantly enhanced!
Was really headache figuring how to cure the seamline on the Beam Rifle nicely.
I did it on my First V2 Gundam actually. But the result was just okay.
So, I decided to just make it into a panel line! Sweet and Easy! Hah!
.... Of course, if I really want to remove the seamline, it's not impossible.
It's just plain laziness... and it's a bad habit I've been trying to change.
Removal of the seamline on the HG heads is a pain. Fortunately, I like the result!
Additionally, with the sharpening of the V-Antenas.
Though it's at the back, unnoticeable , I had masked and painted the tips of the Core Fighter too.

Alright, the base.
It's actually quite a rush work, resulting the gloss black isn't ideal.
The one I'm aiming was Piano Black. Yet, this's the result I got.
So, once again, No Rush in Modelling.
The Gold was quite a lovely one though.
----------------------------------------------------

Overall, the Most Satisfied was the Gold Paint of the armors and the base.
Initial plan was just having GaiaNotesStar Bright Gold for it. But I decide to go with Star Bright Brass and Clear Orange for the edges.
Great Result. I got a rich layers of color, instead of just a plain gold.

So.. I dont think I will be changing the poses of these two V2 Gundams anymore.
It's planned to be a display kit with my V2 Fighters.

And.. my update Ends here
Thanks.
