Went & Return.

Hello World!
I had not update this blog for almost 2 weeks.. ?
Reason = I went to JP for 2 weeks Holidays!!

I apologize that I didn't mention anything about the trip before, and not update about it during the trip.

Anyway Anyway, Sightseeing, Shopping, Playing, in JP,
I'm now back in SG again, arrived just this morning..

A project thats drags for months..

Finally, it's completed!

Honestly, this is not my very satisfied work..

BUT, it is a very important project in my process. In this project, I have finally got the hang of scribbling a nice and clean panel lines. (In the second half)

If you are able to spot, there are actually a mix of messy and clean panel lines on this kit.

Obvious, messy lines = starting of project and clean lines = ending of project

In my older builds, most of the scribed panel lines are not clean and straight. And the depth of the lines are not constant; they are quite deep too.

In this project, I learnt that the depth of the panel lines does not require that deep. Addition, I also learnt the technique of scribing a clean line = where only gentle force is required, but maintaining my hand straight during scribing.

Of course, although this have been said in many others' tutorials, it is actually quite difficult to get it right.

After Work Photos.

I had replaced most the 3mm holes with Neon Magnets, those not in use covered.

Simple metal thrusters at the legs, and metal barrels for the head vulcan and hand vulcan.

Finally back..

I just realised it's already 2 months after my last post!
Studies... Exams.. Models..
Finally all had come an end. Whoo~

Maybe I was too busy or forgetful, just didn't had the proper time to update this blog. apologize..

Anyway Anyway, the last model event in SG, M CON III had ended yesterday!
It was amazing!

Too many Work at Once!!

Hello World!!
First. I had decided to participate in the Group Build (GB) by HAG in SG.
..... Another event again?????

Yea.
The theme for this GB is using Gunpla from GBF, HG. Only straight-build kit is allow, no modification. Painting okay.
Sound Easy?

Of course, it's just a straight-build. But this is where all the Basic Skills coming in! Removing of parting line, gate marks....

This is the kit I'm going with it!

After thoughts, I think I will have my Lightning going with me.

A New Year = A New Start

Hello World!
First of all, Happy New Year 2015!!
I knew it's a bit late as today is already the 4th of 2015.

Anyway, I'm now in a WIP of HG Lightning Gundam.

Plan for this project;

01. to Recreate the Cool Poses in Animation

02. Reproportion & Detail up the whole kit

03. Adding Metal parts

However, tomorrow will be the reopen of my schooling. So many things will be slowed down again. It's my Last Semester, better work hard and Grad!

Addition, I think this Lightning Project will be pausing for maybe 3 months?

Yea, 3 Months.

As I'm going to participate in a Modelling Competition named M Con III, organised by M Workshop. M Workshop is a Model shop in SG. Not only Gunpla, but also in Military and other SF.

If you noticed.... Yup, this Lightning will not be my entry for it.

I will be entering with some other SF mecha.

Had got myself a MAKI-No brand girls ver. Fig yesterday at AFA.
Thought I will never get it as I had missed the preorder before its release; also as it is a prize fig, it maybe difficult to find them in the shops.

AFA2014

Hello World!
Had went to the AFA2014 yesterday!!
AFA is an Anime Event starting from SG since 2008, and this year is the 7th year!!
It's a three days event this year though, I've only able to go for it during the Saturday(06/12). Reason - School...

Anyway, had tons of fun there!! As well as photos too! Didn't had the chance to take any photos of cosplayer since I'm just shooting stuffs with my hp.
